My blog is moving...
...to Tumblr!
This move will be temporary or permanent depending if I decide to switch to Wordpress.

This Posterous site will still be here for as long as Posterous remains alive. :( I've had plenty of fun using Posterous especially with a good friend working there and have recommended it countless times to friends and colleagues.
After talking to Robert Scoble of Rackspace, I've taken his advice too to get more involved with Tumblr and Google+.
Cheers to Posterous for being a great blogging platform but I have to surely move on!
Devon for Janessa Leone
Yes this is lonnnnng overdue but I've come to my senses to sit down and edit these test images of my good friend Devon for Janessa Leone's hat collection. I hope it's worth the wait :)
I saved the best for last and hope you agree with me on this one. I will say that Devon here has no modeling experience but can say that it was easy working with her for sure! All in all, our test shoot was only 1.5 hours in San Francisco [we never left 2 blocks away from her apartment] so we were just finding clean spaces to shoot at.My assistant Nicole as always did well with lighting as I directed her which areas to light using my 1-light "lightstick".
Hope you enjoyed the looks and hopefully this grows into something more with Janessa and her wonderful hat line! If you read this far, then you can surely enjoy her collection here. :D
Cheers,
JJ

Volunteerventures: Alemany Farms (03/18/12)
My friend Darryl and I headed to Alemany Farms in San Francisco to weed and plant some natives! It was definitely fun and realized that it was such a good workout! At the end of our 3 hour shift, our backs and neck hurt for sure.
Who knew there was a farm of native plants and even produce right next to 280 S highway!
We volunteered through HandsOn Bay Area (handsonbayarea.org) and strongly recommend joining it. You get to instantly meet new people and of course do something fun as you can choose where you want to volunteer.
Us in action!
Darryl and I explain what we did in the clip above and sorry for not knowing how to stop recording so my bad for the awkward ending haha
Mission accomplished!
We look forward to our next Volunteerventure!
With @cherrymj and @d_copperfield at @MGMgrand!

In Art & Business, topics will include why art and business will meet each other and ways to ensure that will happen. This includes establishing a good workflow in your craft, practicing must-have networking skills, providing excellent customer service, choosing your clients, and becoming comfortable with what you are charging for.

Teaser: Photoshoot: Devon (01/30/2012)
Am glad to open 2012 with a great shoot with a friend of mine. We squeezed in this shoot the same week she's leaving for a Kiva Fellowship that will send her to Mombasa, Kenya for about 4 months!
This shoot is considered a test shoot for a lookbook I am trying to produce... will keep you posted on that soon! :)
For now, I present Devon and much props to her as this is her first modeling shoot!
Stay tuned for more images!
